Comedy Club
We are pleased to announce the arrival of the Telford Comedy Club to the Crown Inn. On this page you will find details of each monthly event, which will take place every 3rd Sunday of each month.
Each gig we aim to bring you a great mix of stand up comedians ranging from comedy newbie’s to professionals along with the semi-pros and established acts in-between.
Show starts at 8:30pm, entry is free.

Roger Swift (Compère)
The promoter of the comedy club is now also going to take over as the resident compère. Anyone who came to the first gig will have seen his ‘bonkers’ prop act. His compère-ing style is going to be different, as he’s just going to be himself: banter with everyone and telling self-deprecating stories but pieces of his prop act may just sneak in from time to time.
Chris Norton Walker (Closing Act)
One of the country’s fastest rising stand-up comedians, a one-line merchant who’s one to watch out for.
Phillip McCullough
A Semi-Professional comedian from Birmingham. A master of audience banter who can turn any audience to putty in his hands.
Boshir Ahmed
A pretty fresh face on the circuit, with surreal observations on British Asian culture.
Colin Harris
The middle aged brummy with big fun ideas for comedy and unusual dress sense.
